The play guide

How to play Carrom

Carrom combines shot geometry with turn planning. You move the striker along your own baseline, then control its aim and force. Disc Pool removes the Queen rule, while classic Carrom requires the Queen to be followed by one of your own pucks. Pocketing the striker carries a penalty.

Your goal

Pocket all discs of your assigned color while following the selected mode's rules.

Controls

Drag the striker sideways along the baseline, pull back to choose direction and force, then release to shoot.

Your first round

  1. Choose the mode and identify your assigned disc color.
  2. Position the striker along the baseline for a clear shot.
  3. Pull back to set direction and power, then release toward the target disc.
  4. In classic Carrom, cover a pocketed Queen with your own disc on the following shot.

This guide is based on the supplied game instructions.

Tips for your next attempt

  • Trace both the disc's route to a pocket and where the striker may travel afterward.
  • Choose position along the baseline before fine-tuning shot power.
  • In classic Carrom, plan the following own-disc shot before pocketing the Queen.

Watch out for

  • A shot that pockets the striker gives up the turn and returns one of your potted discs.
  • The red Queen is not handled the same way in Disc Pool and classic Carrom.
