The play guide
How to play Rope Puzzle
Rope Puzzle is a rearrangement problem with a limited number of moves. Moving one endpoint changes the entire rope segment, which can free a crossing or transfer it to a different area. Empty holes provide temporary space, but a solution needs every rope separated, not just the most visible knot.
Your goal
Untangle all ropes before the available steps are used up.
Controls
Hold a rope's endpoint and drag it to an empty hole on the board.
Your first round
- Identify a crossing and follow its ropes to their endpoints.
- Drag an endpoint into an empty hole that produces a clearer arrangement.
- Recheck the whole board and continue until no ropes overlap.
This guide is based on the supplied game instructions.
Tips for your next attempt
- Trace the full rope before moving an endpoint so you can predict its new crossings.
- Prefer a move that separates several crossings without creating a new one elsewhere.
- Check the Step counter before experimenting with a long sequence.
Watch out for
- Resolving one crossing can introduce another farther along the moved rope.
- A move that only shifts the tangle consumes a step without improving the final arrangement.
