How to play Mahjong Mania
Mahjong Mania is a solitaire removal puzzle in which access matters as much as matching symbols. Taking a pair changes which tiles are uncovered and which have a free side. That makes each removal a decision about the next part of the board, rather than simply the first match you notice.
Your goal
Remove every tile from the stacked layout.
Controls
Click or tap two identical free tiles to remove them. Use the on-screen Hint, Undo or Shuffle tools when available.
Your first round
- Identify two identical tiles with nothing on top and at least one open side each.
- Select both to remove the pair.
- Inspect the newly exposed tiles and freed edges before choosing another pair.
- Use an available hint or shuffle when no useful match is apparent.

Tips for your next attempt
- Check both the top of a tile and its left or right edge before choosing it.
- Prefer a pair that exposes buried tiles or frees the side of a crowded row.
- When several identical tiles are available, compare what each pair would uncover.
Watch out for
- An uncovered tile can still be blocked if both horizontal sides touch other tiles.
- Removing a convenient pair may leave a more useful tile buried beneath the alternative pair.
