How to play Merge Arena
Merge Arena has a preparation puzzle on a small grid, followed by a battle that still accepts support from you. Merging raises a unit's level while freeing a square. The pre-fight meter affects that round's strength, and temporary reinforcements provide another way to support the automatic army.
Your goal
Build an effective army and defeat the opposing troops.
Controls
Tap to buy units and stop the power meter. Drag a soldier onto an identical one to merge; tap the battlefield during combat to summon reinforcements.
Your first round
- Purchase soldiers into empty grid slots and merge identical pairs.
- Start the round once the formation is ready.
- Stop the power meter in its green zone to boost that fight.
- Tap the battlefield for reinforcements and use victory coins to prepare the next formation.

Tips for your next attempt
- Check for an identical pair before buying another soldier into the limited grid.
- Wait for the power needle to enter the green zone before selecting FIGHT.
- Keep using the reinforcement input after the initial automatic clash begins.
Watch out for
- Different soldiers cannot be treated as an identical merge pair.
- Preparation is not the only input: overlooking the boost or reinforcements can weaken the round.
