How to play Cat Mouse
The mouse receives a move after your action. Blocking its current route therefore changes the next decision rather than ending the threat. Work backward from the outer exits and identify a bottleneck that reduces several escape options at once.
Your goal
Trap the mouse so it cannot reach an outer edge or make a valid escape move.
Controls
Click or tap a valid empty tile to place a block or move into position.
Your first round
- Inspect the mouse's open paths toward the board edge.
- Tap a valid empty tile to position a blockade.
- After the mouse moves, reassess its remaining exits before placing the next block.
This guide is based on the supplied game instructions.
Tips for your next attempt
- Close narrow escape routes before the mouse reaches them.
- Consider where the mouse can reroute after your next placement.
Watch out for
- Chasing the mouse one tile at a time can leave an alternative exit open.
- A route you blocked earlier is only part of the current board state.
